Abstract: The aim of this chapter is to examine farmers' attitudes towards recharging a depleting aquifer with treated municipal wastewater in a water-scarce region. The case study reported here is conducted in Cyprus, a semi-arid Mediterranean country that faces chronic water resource scarcity and hence is in constant search of alternative water resources.
