Abstract:
In the present paper SDGs patterns are defined in terms of the country performance on the Sustainable Development Goals Index provided by the United Nations Index and Dashboards. We use this index to analyze how sustainability, based on the average performance on the seventeen Sustainable Development Goals, has evolved during the last four years both at global and European level in order to explore whether any patterns emerge. Indeed, analysis indicates that the best performers are the Nordic countries which lead us to shift the attention to Europe and compare performance within Europe as well as with the global average level.
