Outlook Report N. 1/2020 - Automotive

Giuseppe Creanza and Maria Jennifer Grisorio ()

No 1, Outloook Reports from Regional Agency for Technology and Innovation (Apulia, Italy)

Abstract: The report describes the automotive supply chain in Apulia, analysing its characteristics and performance and highlighting the critical aspects it faces, due to its structure in relation to the national and global supply chain. Through a SWOT analysis, opportunities that could be exploited by industrial actors are highlighted. The report then identifies a number of scenarios that could reasonably affect the automotive sector and the entire supply chain in the short term, leading to concluding remarks on the current state and the possible challenges that the regional supply chain will have to face in the near future. Although the analyses on which it is based were carried out before the health emergency by COVID-19, the publication also proposes an in-depth analysis of possible post-pandemic scenarios.
