No 1, IADI Policy Notes from International Association of Deposit Insurers
Abstract:
This IADI Policy Note summarises the responses received from IADI Members across 47 jurisdictions to the Survey on Effective Reimbursement Systems and Processes (henceforth 'the Survey'). The paper seeks to identify the gaps between current insured depositor reimbursement practices and the IADI Core Principles for Effective Deposit Insurance Systems (with a focus on CP15: Reimbursing Depositors) and identify current and future challenges faced by deposit insurers. The results may be used to consider the need for developing supplemental IADI guidance in this area.
