Abstract: This paper performs a qualitative gap analysis between the Core Principles and the 2014/49/EU Directive. Where appropriate, references were made to European regulatory documents, such as the European Bank Recovery and Resolution Directive (BBRD) and other European Union regulations (i.e. EBA Guidelines). National regulations or legislation were not considered.
