Abstract:
India produces about 3.9 million tonnes of grapes and exports nearly 9 per cent of output-far higher than most other fruits-ranking among the top 10 global exporters with roughly 4 per cent of world trade, over 70 per cent of it to the European Union. The report analyses export competitiveness and value chain gaps, and offers strategies to enhance value realisation, expand into new markets, and sustain export growth.
