Abstract: Digital technologies are often seen as a potential vector for the third industrial revolution. This blog exploits a unique survey by the Banque de France to measure firms’ digitalisation and determine its potential impact on productivity. The use of technologies, which has been stimulated by the Covid-19 crisis, could facilitate and reinforce the economic rebound.

Les technologies digitales sont souvent vues comme un vecteur potentiel de la troisième révolution industrielle. Ce billet exploite une enquête originale de la Banque de France pour mesurer la digitalisation des entreprises et en déterminer l’impact potentiel sur la productivité. Le recours à ces technologies, stimulé par le contexte sanitaire, pourrait faciliter et renforcer le rebond économique.
