Abstract: Since the vote on Brexit, the UK economy has shown resilience. However, due to the historically low level of savings rates, investment uncertainty and inflationary risk, we can ask ourselves whether the current growth model of the UK economy is sustainable over the short term.

Depuis le vote sur le Brexit, l’économie britannique a fait preuve de résilience. Toutefois, du fait du niveau historiquement bas du taux d’épargne, de l’incertitude sur l’investissement et du risque inflationniste, nous pouvons nous interroger sur la soutenabilité à court terme du modèle actuel de croissance de l’économie britannique.
