Abstract: The diffusion of information and communication technology (ICT) and the associated benefits in terms of growth appear to have petered out at the start of the 2000s in advanced countries. This suggests we are experiencing a pause in the third industrial revolution, ahead of the incipient shock linked to the digital economy.

Un épuisement de la diffusion des technologies de l’information et de la communication (TIC) et de leurs effets sur la croissance apparait au début des années 2000 dans les pays développés. Cela suggère une pause dans la troisième révolution industrielle avant le choc naissant de l’économie numérique.
