Abstract: This paper analyses the Hungarian ICT sector from a Central European and Estern European perspective. It outlines the position of the ICT sector in Central European and Eastern European states. Furthermore, it describes the impact of ICT on structural improvement in the regiuon. In conclusion, it gives an overview of the Hungarian ICT policy.
