Abstract: The purpose of this report is to provide detailed information on cigarette smoking among youth, including the prevalence and intensity of smoking behavior as well as the characteristics of the cigarettes smoked by middle and high school students. It is the first in a series of reports from the American Lagacy Foundation (Legacy) that will summarize findings from the NYTs and other surveys and studies conducted by Legacy
