Institute of Transportation Studies, Working Paper Series from Institute of Transportation Studies, UC Davis

Abstract: This document is intended for use by agencies that sponsor transportation projects as a supplement when evaluating the potential local level carbon monoxide (CO) impacts of a project. It contains an outline of the major steps involved in analyzing project-level CO impacts using the CO Protocol. It also includes examples illustrating the use of the Protocol. The Protocol provides a structure for documenting project-level air quality analysis that is accepted by regulatory agencies.
