Abstract:
The purpose of this article is to clarify the concept of migratory pattern from the history of internal migration in Brazil in the second half of the twentieth century and the first decade of this century . The reference to the Brazilian case is intended to place the analytical suggestions within the limits of the historical process in which there have been internal migration . It is important to mention that this new pattern that is announced does not mean a complete transition, however, it coexist characteristics of old and new and this is perhaps its most important structural mark portrayed mainly by the stability of the migratory trajectories.
