Aprendizado tecnológico: capacidade de absorção, conhecimento e processos de Catching Up

Eduardo Albuquerque

No 622, Textos para Discussão Cedeplar-UFMG from Cedeplar, Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais

Abstract: Technological revolutions take place and reconfigure the global capitalist system. The diffusion of new technologies can take place according to a systemic expansionist logic or through domestic efforts of backward regions. This article deals with technological learning, interpreted as a strategic element for the propagation of technological revolutions. This spread can vary according to the degree of initiative from the point of view of the backward region - passive or active insertion, that is, the absorption capacity has different degrees of construction. This discussion can provide elements for an understanding of the role of learning and its mutations throughout catching up processes.
