Abstract: At a symposium held at the Suntory Centre on 4 July 1996 Professor Aizawa gave a paper on 'The Tripartite Pact and the Japanese Navy's Strategy' and Mr Kuramatsu read his paper on 'Japan and the Geneva Naval Conference of 1927: Preparation for the Conference, February to June 1927'.
