Abstract: The objective of the structuring project on the state of the labour market in Quebec is to delineate six different areas of the Programmation de recherche à portée gouvernementale (PRPG)'s research programme: labour market participation, immigration, teaching and education, innovation and productivity, taxation and regulation. . Each of these areas is covered in a separate chapter of this report. By identifying known data, available information and analyses that have already been carried out, this exercise provides an opportunity to establish a coherent structure for linking and presenting the different areas. To carry out this exercise, several CIRANO researchers, experts in their field, took part in the project. Le projet structurant sur l’état du marché du travail au Québec a pour objectif de délimiter six différents axes de la Programmation de recherche à portée gouvernementale (PRPG) : participation au marché du travail, immigration, enseignement et éducation, innovation et productivité, fiscalité et règlementation. Chacun de ces axes fait l’objet d’un chapitre différent dans ce rapport. En identifiant les données connues, les renseignements disponibles et les analyses déjà faites, cet exercice permet de mettre en place une structure de liaison et de présentation cohérente des différents axes. Plusieurs chercheuses et chercheurs CIRANO, experts dans leur domaine, ont participé au projet.
