Abstract:
Trust has been deemed to be critical in ensuring the efficient operation of virtual teams and organizations. This study empirically verified ability and integrity as being antecedents of trust formation in virtual teams. However, effective team performance was found to be independent of the formation of trust. La confiance a régulièrement été considérée comme un facteur clef lié au bon fonctionnement des équipes ou des organisations virtuelles. Cette étude démontre que le niveau de compétence et l'intégrité sont des pré-requis à la confiance. Elle démontre toutefois que la performance des groupes de travail n'est pas reliée directement à l'établissement de la confiance.
