Abstract: This paper will provide a general approximation to the discussion between two points of view for debate, those advocating in defense of 'Copyright-All Rights Reserved' and those who advocate for a more accessible system with respect to scientific research. To exemplify the phenomenon of 'predatory publishers', the conflict emerged in 2015 between Elsevien and Library Genesis will be analyzed. The dominant posture (Copyright), and alternative postures (Copyleft, Creative Commons and Open Acess) of the legal framework will be briefly explained. Finally, web platforms that allow the free dissemination of scientific knowledge without falling into illegality will be mentioned.
