Abstract:
This document arises from the research project ‘Formulation of comprehensive gender, diversity and inclusion policies in the FCE: Conceptual and methodological framework’ and responds to the need for a diagnosis of the student body of the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the National University of Colombia, in order to create policies and concrete actions consistent with the characteristics of the student population in terms of age, gender and sexual diversity, family composition, academic environment, socio-economic conditions, access to university welfare, among others. This diagnosis is carried out by means of a survey that is answered by 1543 undergraduate and 147 postgraduate students, corresponding to 53% and 42% respectively. It was identified that there are important problems in socio-economic issues, discrimination and mental health, mainly.
