Abstract: The Colombian radio contextualizes revealing its historical background and legislative developments. It is a brief analysis of the situation of Colombian radio according to their classes, to show their financial behavior outside the Ministry of Information Technology for the obligations incumbent on broadcasters in light of the legal rules in this area. Finally we discuss some standards that are projected for the Colombian broadcasting sector
