Un estudio desde la perspectiva de la financiarización para Colombia 1980-2008Diego Alejandro Guevara Castañeda Econógrafos, Escuela de Economía from Universidad Nacional de Colombia, FCE, CID Abstract: This dissertation presents an analysis of the finance changes in Colombia over the past four decades from the approach of financialization and the relationship of this phenomenon with income distribution inequality. In that way in the first part we have done a theoretical approach to the different dimensions, moments and interpretations of financialization where we show the heterodox origin of the concept which is associated with the problematic dimensions of finance. Later we analyze the transformations of the Colombian financial system and its different policies in a historical perspective where we have defined 3 periods of financialization for the Colombian economy. Once we have developed this proposal in the final chapter we present some links between financialization and inequality, in first place from a theoretical approach and then we build a Theil index and we develop a computational modeling exercise (SFC- Stock Flow Consistent) to show some relationships of the financialization with inequality in the periphery.
