Centre of Policy Studies/IMPACT Centre Working Papers from Victoria University, Centre of Policy Studies/IMPACT Centre

Abstract: This paper describes in detail the process to create the database for OMAGE - a Dynamic Applied General Equilibrium model for Oman with labour market detail. It starts with an overview of the model theoretical structure, which consists of a CGE core model and a labour supply module. Then it specifies the coefficients and parameters required for the model database, which provides an initial solution to the model. All data sources and procedures to create the database are then discussed in detail.
