Abstract:
This articles provides a survey of the main results coming from empirical studies devoted to the informational efficiency of Brussels stock exchange. Efficiency tests on the Brussels market demonstrate that, with the exception of occasional or slight anomalies, weak and semi-strong forms of efficiency are supported by the facts. Because there is no information available in Belgium about insider transactions, to date there has been no analysis which deals with the strong form of efficiency.
