Anticipations rationnelles
Roger Guesnerie ()
DELTA Working Papers from DELTA (Ecole normale supérieure)
Abstract:
This text reviews the steps of the success of the concept of rational expectations in formalized economic theory. Emphasis is put, in the first part, on the genesis of the concept, and, in the second part, on the ''heterodox'' developments associated to the idea of ''sunspot equilibria''. The conclusion briefly returns to the foundations of the concept.
