Abstract: (VF)L’objet de cette étude consiste à étudier dans quelle mesure les entreprises françaises accordent un poids identique aux intérêts et préoccupations des actionnaires, à travers leur système de gouvernance, à celui qu’elles concèdent aux autres parties prenantes, à travers notamment leurs pratiques en matière de développement durable.(VA)We study if French firms are concerned with stockholders’ interests, through governance structure, as much as they are with other stakeholders, through sustainability. We generate testable predictions and we provide evidence on these relationships using a sample of French firms.
