Abstract: Presenta una visión general de la situación de la mujer en San Cristóbal y Nieves, sus derechos legales, su situación en la estructura demográfica, y situación con respecto a su participación en la fuerza laboral. Luego aborda a la mujer en tanto beneficiaria de servicios financiados por el Estado en el área de la educación, salud, asistencia social, desarrollo de la juventud.
