Abstract:
In order to examine specific cases of high trade margins, the high-level committee lists out recommendations to address the issue. In this regard, the recommendations aim to significantly bring down prices of expensive medicines, by capping of trade margins for costly drugs at 35% of MRP (maximum retail price).
