Abstract:
Ten countries from the Pacific have gathered in Nadi, Fiji, for a regional consultation on the region’s biodiversity for food and agriculture. The consultation, on the State of Biodiversity for Food and Agriculture in the Pacific region, is to assess the current state of knowledge and the needs and priorities for the sustainable use and conservation of its biodiversity. The consultation, taking place in Nadi, Fiji, is part of a global assessment process under the aegis of the Commission on Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).
