Report of the Task Force on Medical Education for the National Rural Health Mission

Task Force on Medical Education

Working Papers from eSocialSciences

Abstract: Some of the major problems in primary healthcare relate to training and capacity building of health service providers in foreseeable future. It is in this background that government set up a Task Force to review the effectiveness of medical education currently imparted to different categories of health service providers, and also to explore the alternative training opportunities and capacity building of the health functionaries to bridge the gap generated by NRHM.
