Abstract: This research first discusses the manufacturing process of aluminium, the world and the Indian aluminium industry, technological changes in the aluminum industry. In the second part, it discusses a literature survey of various operation research models in the aluminium industry. The survey has been done through the published research works from 1967 until the present year. The purpose of this study is to survey models that are related to the aluminium industry either in methodology or in practice. [W.P. No. 2016-03-50]
