Working Papers from eSocialSciences
Abstract:
The speech talks about the nationalist struggle against the British rule led by Gandhi, as well as a range of other contemporary protest campaigns. In particular, this movement is examined in the light of an explosion of writing in recent years on the theory and history of nonviolent forms of resistance to authoritarian regimes.
