Abstract:
This study contributes to a growing body of research demonstrating that adoption of internationally available and well-proven energy efficiency measures can improve the effectiveness, sustainability, and global competitiveness of data centers in developing countries, including Indonesia. The sources cited in this report were selected for their recognition as global best practices in data center energy efficiency and their applicability to the Indonesian data center industry. Indonesia can learn from previous studies from other countries that show that the adoption of energy efficiency standards through suitable policy and regulatory mechanisms can support the uptake of energy-efficient technology and practices in data centers.
