Abstract:
This report is an assessment of the potential, the barriers and the challenges in demonstrating and deploying Carbon capture and storage (CCS) in the People's Republic of China. It identifies unique low cost opportunities, recommends a gradual two phase approach to CCS deployment in the country and, provides complementary suite of policy actions to enable it.
