Abstract: This study analyses the concerns/challenges in executing the operational targets set under the UDAY scheme for two DISCOMs in Karnataka, namely, Mangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (MESCOM) and Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation Limited (CESC), and provides recommendations for successful implementation of the scheme.
