Abstract:
This Policy Note assesses the extent to which the products of the Philippines and Taiwan compete with or complement each other using the Balassa revealed comparative advantage (RCA) index and other trade indicators. Its goal is to assist in the formulation of investment, industrial, and trade strategies to maximize the mutual gains from the two countries’ enhanced trade and cooperation under the proposed EPA.
