Abstract:
This paper focuses on the policy direction required to achieve socio-economic growth in developing countries while addressing air pollution concerns at both local and global levels. While greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) are a global concern due to the implications for resulting climate change, local air pollution is a primary concern due to its more immediate adverse health impacts.
