David Kinley

Working Papers from eSocialSciences

Abstract: With the liberalization of trade Viet Nam became the 150th member of World Trade Organization in January 2007. The country became an example to the world on how trade can spur the economic and social development. The study throws light on the effect of trade liberalization on the enjoyment of human rights in Viet Nam. The process posed challenges and opportunities discussed in this paper.
