Abstract: The scheme would facilitate improving both qualitative and quantitative aspects of skill development in Mission Mode by harmonizing efforts of Central / State Governments as well as private sector through State Skill Development Missions. Accordingly, a frame work has been laid for long-term skill development policy to equip the workforce with varied skills consistent with demands arising from industry.
