Working Papers from eSocialSciences
Abstract:
The paper addresses three main issues: The nature of economic reforms and how growth is segregated within the sectors; secondly, limitations of the poverty line approach to estimate the development of the SC/ST communities in India; thirdly, the scenario of the economic and social endowments of the Dalit groups in India to capture the ongoing reforms apparatus and why and how they fail to associate with the same.
