Abstract:
A Working Group on Child Rights was constituted by the Planning Commission to recommend priorities and strategies for children in the 12th Five year Plan 2012-17. Five Sub Groups of the Working group were constituted subsequently which deliberated on key themes suggested by the Working Group-Child Survival and Development, ICDS, Early Childhood Care and Education, Child Rights and Protection, the Girl and Adolescents.
