Abstract:
The Supreme Court today posted the petition challenging the judgment of the Gujarat High Court which held that all women automatically convert to the religion of their husbands upon marriage, to be heard in February 2014. While doing so, the Court observed that the petition raised important legal issues and needed to be examined.
