Abstract:
The comprehensive mental health action plan 2013–2020 was adopted by the Sixty-sixth World Health Assembly in May 2013. The present report summarizes progress made in implementing the action plan. The action plan includes six global targets and associated indicators to measure progress in its implementation. The Secretariat is directly involved in providing technical support to 89 projects in 63 Member States, including mental health and substance abuse, service development, suicide prevention, mental health system and service strengthening (including after emergencies), and the assessment and promotion of human rights of people with mental health conditions.
