Abstract:
This paper outlines a facilitative procedure for settlement of disputes in the area of trade facilitation when the party against which a complaint has been lodged in a dispute happens to be a developing country. Such an alternative to the rigid and costly dispute settlement procedure in the WTO may encourage developing country members not to shy away from an otherwise beneficial trade facilitation agreement.
