Abstract: The present study paper attempts to assess the impact of microfinance channelised through SHG Bank Linkage programme in Eastern areas (Orissa, Jharkhand & Chattisgarh) of India.It tries to quantify the impact of microfinance through the programme on living standards of SHG members.
