Work Participation Rates in Madhya Pradesh: Comparison of Estimates based on Census and NSSO

Abstract: This study estimates the work participation rates in Madhya Pradesh (including Chhatisgarh, prior to 2000) using both Census data and NSSO for relevant periods and compares these trends in the same with all-India trends for the corresponding period.
