Abstract:
The paper evaluates the general educational scene in Tripura three commonly known indicators such as literacy rate, enrolment ratio and wastage rate are used as yardsticks in the present study. though a good progress has been achieved in literacy and enrollment rates in Tripura high dropout rates among tribal students has been a matter of great concern for the State.
