Abstract: The life table constitutes a fundamental model of demography.This work compiles all the official information published in Spain by the National Statistical Institute (INE) in relation to life tables at a national level. The information has been organized in Excel® and PcAxis® files, to facilitate access to the data. The paper offers a descriptive analysis of the demographic change occurring in Spain during the 20th century, as well as illustrating the evolution of life expectancy.
