Abstract: I will focus my remarks this morning on three areas: First, I will take a brief look at the extensive impact of the recession on the workforce and capital investment. Second, I will discuss my view on the cyclical and structural aspects of the recovery. I will then conclude with a discussion on the Federal Reserve's monetary policy responses.
