Economic Outlook for Delaware and the Nation
Patrick T. Harker
Speech from Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia
Abstract:
At a virtual meeting of the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce, Philadelphia Fed President Patrick T. Harker said both economic growth and employment are “robust” but voiced his concern that inflation “is running far too high.” He pledged strong action to rein in inflation, which he forecasts at around 4 percent for 2022, with “a series of deliberate, methodical hikes” this year as data evolve.
