Abstract:
This technical report discusses the application of geospatial analysis for real-time crop monitoring, focusing on the crop distribution in the study districts of Uttar Pradesh—Lakshmipur Kheri, Sitapur, and Shahjahanpur—for the Rabi 2023-24 season. The study employs Sentinel-2 time series satellite data in conjunction with ground data collection to effectively classify and map crops, highlighting the predominant crops in each district. Furthermore, the utilization of this data for various stakeholders is explored to enhance decision-making processes in agriculture.
